Saudi feature film nominated for Oscar Awards
RIYADH, December 22, 2020
Saudi Arabia’s Film Commission has announced the nomination of the feature film "Scales" (Sayidat Al Bahr) to officially represent the Kingdom in the upcoming Oscar’s best international feature 2021.
The film will compete with films produced by the rest of the world. It will go through several stages before announcing the final list that will be chosen by the American Academy of Sciences and Arts that awards the Oscars, reported
Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The winning film will be announced at 93rd Academy Awards that is set to take place on April 25, 2021.
