When Denyse Klette was six years old, she visited Walt Disney World with her family and saw Tinker Bell — her favourite character — soar across the sky during the fireworks show.

Klette is the first Canadian to be signed as a published artist with the Disney Fine Art collection, which means her work will join the global Disney Fine Art portfolio. Only about 30 artists worldwide are part of that prestigious group, according to the collection’s website.
