Gulfcoast organization seeking local stores as hosts for annual drive
Staff Report
The Girl Scouts are looking for more local businesses to help them conduct their iconic annual cookie drive.
The Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida’s annual cookie drive begins on Feb. 19 and leaders need to partner with local stores to host in-person cookie sales. All COVID-19 safety protocols will be followed.
“This year we’re asking for support from the communities we serve in order to overcome the challenges our troops are facing this cookie season due to the ongoing pandemic,” council CEO Mary Anne Servian said in a news release. “This year, Girl Scouts will also sell cookies to donate to our essential health care workers, veterans and other Hometown Heroes.”
