Santa Clarita Structure Fire Prompts Response From Firefighters
A Santa Clarita structure fire prompted a response from firefighters Thursday, after an apartment building was charred with smoke.
Around 9:35 a.m. Thursday, firefighters received reports of a structure fire in the 28900 block of Silver Saddle Circle in Canyon Country, said Leslie Lua, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“The call came out as an electrical emergency,” Lua said.
When crews arrived on scene they found smoke in the garage and in an apartment above the parking area, Lua said.
No injuries have been reported, according to officials.
