Since the early 1980s March is designated as Women’s History Month, a time to recognize, celebrate the contributions women have made to the United States and recognize the specific achievements women have made over the course of American history in a variety of fields. Celebrate the month with your Sanibel Public Library card — stop by the book display or borrow an eBook from home.
The Sanibel-Captiva Art League and Shell Island Garden Club’s “Art in Bloom” exhibit — floral arrangements inspired by and displayed with coordinating artwork — will be on display on March 9-10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and March 11 from 9 a.m. to noon. Pieces will be located on the second level.
