Sandy Ridge News: Bingo canceled for January

Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases in Stokes County, the Sandy Ridge Community Center is cancelling the Bingo Fundraiser scheduled for Jan. 16. We are, tentatively, planning to resume Bingo on Feb. 20. Please keep this in mind as all proceeds are for the maintenance and upkeep of our building.
The following have birthdays this week… Happy birthday to Roger Brim Jr., Garland Conner, Michelle Hall, Michael Dylan Lester, Gracelyn Heath, Donnie Ferguson, Paisley Boles, Mandy Martin, William Wood, Kenny and Benny Bullins, Junior Hall, Linda Baker, Hollis Holt and Pam Bullins!
Sympathy is extended to the family and friends of the Rev. Lewis Hardie Dodson, who passed away Dec. 29, at age 100. He was one of 10 children and was raised in Sandy Ridge. He served in World War II and was the recipient of three Bronze Stars!
