Sands Springs City Council To Vote On Lifting Mask Mandate
The Sand Springs City Council is scheduled to vote on whether or not to lift the city's mask mandate at Monday night's city council meeting. If they were to decide to lift that mandate, it would not take place immediately. As with all votes, there is a 30 day holding period after the decision.
The City of Sand Springs has had an active mask mandate in place since November, but at a March council meeting, the idea of lifting the mandate in Monday's meeting was brought up. Council mentioned in March they have seen COVID-19 numbers drop within the city drastically since the beginning of the year.
