San Simon still zero on Covid-19 deaths

THE coronavirus disease (Covid-19) may have hit the world hard this year, but it has spared the municipality of San Simon, Pampanga from disease-related mortalities.
Acting Mayor Leonora Wong reported that as of Thursday, December 10, 2020, there are still no Covid-19-related deaths in the town since the start of pandemic.
This makes San Simon the only municipality out of the 19 towns and three cities in Pampanga to have a zero Covid-19 mortality rate, based on the Provincial Health Office's report.
Wong credited such record to the continuous effort made by the Municipal Health Office (MHO) and the local Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) to ensure that health protocols are strictly being implemented.
