San Diego museum's 'Keepers of the Culture' event honors local Black artists who uplift community

Andrea Rushing, of San Diego, is a painter and sculptor being recognized by the San Diego African American Museum of Fine Art as one of this year's 'Keepers of the Culture,' recognizing San Diegans whose artistic and cultural work uplifts the region's Black culture. He is being recognized this year alongside Alyce Smith Cooper, Nathan East and Calvin Manson
