San Angelo boil-water notice could end soon depending on water tests

UPDATE: The boil water notice has been lifted for most of San Angelo, according to a city news release.
SAN ANGELO — A citywide boil-water notice was rescinded Tuesday afternoon after dozens of water samples were collected and tested by inspectors throughout San Angelo early Monday.
Here's what you should be doing right now
All San Angelo residents should flush household pipes and faucets first, according to a city news release, which recommends doing the following:
To flush your plumbing, run all your cold water faucets on full for at least 5 minutes each. If your service connection is long or complex (like in an apartment building) consider flushing for a longer period. Your building superintendent or landlord should be able to advise you on longer flushing times.
