Sam Newman's wife dies suddenly at their Melbourne home aged 50

Football great and TV personality Sam Newman's wife has died suddenly at their Docklands home in Melbourne aged 50. 
Amanda Brown was found unresponsive by Newman, 75, lying on the floor of their apartment just before 8pm on Saturday night. 
Emergency services were called but they weren't able to revive her.  
'I'm just devastated, I can't say anything else,' the Geelong legend told the Herald Sun this morning. 
The couple have spent the last 20 years together but only tied the knot five months ago on November 27. 
An Ambulance Victoria spokesman confirmed paramedics were called to Newman’s home at 7.40pm on Saturday over reports of a cardiac arrest.
