CADIZ — A Sally Buffalo Park project is able to move forward now that it has secured $140,000 in grant funds.
The project includes the construction of a new stage inside the park where concerts will be held.
Village Council discussed the estimated $250,000 project during the March 4 meeting.
Village Administrator Ted Andrzejewski said the village secured a $140,000 capital improvement grant. The village will provide a $70,000 match for the project. He said those funds will be covered by donations from residents and local businesses. He did not specify where the remaining project funds would come from.
