SALEM, MA — A Salem man was rushed to Salem Hospital in critical condition after he was struck walking on Highland Avenue Saturday morning.
Police said the 41-year-old man was conscious when he was treated at the scene near the outbound lane of 205 Highland Avenue shortly after 9 a.m.
Police said the driver, a 26-year-old woman from Salem, remained on the scene. An investigation into the crash will determine whether charges will be filed.
