Saint Therese points to church's 'hierarchy of truths', pope says

Pope Francis has pointed to Saint Therese of Lisieux as an authority on the so-called “hierarchy of truths” of the Church, saying her emphasis on love and childlike trust in God’s mercy precedes overly rigid interpretations of the faith.
