Sabah assembly passes amendments to widen Shariah court powers on inheritance, strengthen fatwa procedures

Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Legislative Assembly today passed two Bills to boost the Shariah courts’ jurisdiction over Muslim inheritance matters and the state fatwa council.
