Ryder: Police SUV takes down armed woman in North Bellmore intersection

The 33-year-old woman, who was not identified, allegedly fired a single shot from a semi-automatic pistol, held it to her head, and waved the weapon around before the police vehicle hit her, according to Nassau Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder.
