Ryanair flight to Tenerife is forced to divert to Portugal after suffering a technical issue

A 'Code Red' alert was triggered at Faro Airport when Ryanair flight FR 1249, which was travelling from Manchester to Tenerife South, reported problems and the pilot had to abandon course.
