Ryan Blaney’s first checkered flag in 68 career Cup Series starts gave Wood Brothers Racing its 99th all-time victory and third at Pocono.
Ryan Blaney's father Dave's career included hundreds of sprint car victories—including every major event at least once—and numerous series titles.
Blaney’s breakthrough day came despite an unscheduled stop for a loose wheel. It also came on the same day as Bubba Wallace made his Cup Series debut. Wallace finished 26th.
