All Black Will Jordan would love to face former Black Caps legend Daniel Vettori in Friday's Black Clash T20.
The last time All Blacks star Will Jordan played a competitive cricket match about 20 people were watching.
It will be a different story under lights at Christchurch's Hagley Oval on Friday when the Crusaders fullback-wing lines up for Team Rugby against Team Cricket in the annual Black Clash T20.
More than 7000 fans attended the inaugural event in 2019 at Hagley and another large crowd is expected for the festival match.
Jordan's last proper cricket match was in December 2015 for the Christchurch Boys' High First XI at the Gillette Cup schoolboy nationals. Aside from "two or three” social T20s on a Saturday over the last four years, Jordan's focus has been on his burgeoning rugby career – making his All Blacks debut against Australia in November.
