THE Russian Direct Investment Fund has delivered an additional 170,000 doses of Sputnik V, its viral vector vaccine against coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
The National Task Force (NTF) Against Covid-19 said 132,200 doses (components I and II) arrived on Friday evening, July 9, 2021, and 37,800 (component I) arrived on Saturday evening, July 10.
These brought the total Sputnik V deliveries to the Philippines to 350,000 doses. All were procured by the national government.
For the July 9 shipment, 82,000 doses were component I (first dose) and 50,000 were component II (second dose). The July 10 shipment consisted of all component I doses.’
The Philippines has received a total of 20,779,910 doses of donated and procured vaccines, consisting of 12 million doses of Sinovac, 5,708,100 doses of AstraZeneca, 2,472,210 doses of Pfizer, 249,600 doses of Moderna and 350,000 doses of Sputnik V.
