FARGO — High school students from rural North Dakota, Minnesota and South Dakota are taking steps to potentially become life-savers.
They're taking the Health Occupations and Professions Exploration program, or HOPE program, at North Dakota State University, where professionals from the medical field are giving students hands-on experience in medical fields like radiology, pharmacy and AirMed.
Tuesday, June 15, students got to take a tour of an ambulance, which students said helped them get their career paths in focus, or at least have an idea of what they want to pursue once they get out of high school.
