Rules Governing Certification
(a) identify training and ethical standards for paralegals working in Wisconsin;
(b) recognize the professional commitment of paralegals who choose to become State Bar of Wisconsin
Certified Paralegals;
(c) provide a benchmark for paralegal standards for State Bar lawyer-members who do or plan to work with
paralegals in their practices; and
(d) promote greater access to legal services and the justice system for members of the public by assisting
State Bar members in locating and better utilizing the services of qualified paralegals.
