'Bruce Springsteen Day' Possible Under NJ Resolution

NJ residents could be celebrating Bruce Springsteen Day soon, according to a resolution that advanced in the state Legislature Thursday. (Ilya S. Savenok/Getty Images)
FREEHOLD, NJ - A Democratic-led committee in the New Jersey state Legislature advanced a resolution Thursday calling for a 'Bruce Springsteen Day' in the Garden State.
Springsteen, 71, is a Grammy-award winning musician from Freehold. He currently lives in Colts Neck.
State Assemblywoman Valerie Vainieri Huttle (D-Bergen) introduced the measure in January. You can view the resolution here.

A similar resolution calls for a ceremonious week to recognize Grover Cleveland, a former governor of New York and the only U.S. president to serve two non-consecutive terms.
