Perform amputations not because we want to, but because we lack the means to treat them. I mean, were not butchers, but we have no other choice. Every day a poster new doctor dies a little when hes in the hospital reception and sees a mother, a brother, a sister bringing a dead or wounded person, and fighting for a hospital bed. The russian president clinton has signed a new law allowing use of Digital Financial assets in international trade. The law permits the dfcs to be used as a form of payment for international transfers. Challenging the wes dominance of global payment superstructures, such as swift or the contributor chris evans explains what the move will mean. The major change it makes. It really allows, uh, government institutions in russia and i, and Russian Companies to freely use other alternative Payment Methods. As though it is, conduct the transfers as we, we know russia was cuts off, you know, 2 years ago from the Global Financial system. Most impression banks have the inability to use uh, Payment System such as swift or any other real Payment Method of moving money in and out of the country. Now with this little policy, it means the other methods can be use such as crypto currencies, for example, which is what im a strong advocate of to move money instantly from one country to another. So its quite significant really because it basically breaks down all of the barriers that the russian economy has to trade in terms of payments. So how that works essentially is if we using alternative Payment Methods, such as crypto currencies, for example, or suffering based cooling, like the digital russian valuable for example. What that does is those systems are, in a sense, a black box to all the nations from seeing those transactions. For example, if we were to put to form a swift tron specified as to send you roubles or dollars using swift, its very, very probable that the United States, for example, would be able to see or device transaction flows to see who im paying and who was being paid by me and thats where weve seen a lot of these sanctions come into place on companies abroad that have been trading with rushing companies that will disappear. Now if these alternative Digital Financial assets all use these payments instead of the traditional payment form, as you say, was archie international ive next on direct impact. Rick sanchez and his guest discussed the topics trending in the news over the past week by the fellow again everybody, im like, sanchez, you know, i work at 4 or 5 of the biggest Television Networks in the United States. And i frankly have a bit of a problem with the way they cover news these days. Now were doing a newscast here every single day. Were daily. Okay, and im sure you probably notice. So we get an opportunity to see all the big stories that happen throughout the span of the week. And now what were going to do is were going to compile all of those stories. Were gonna try and put them together in order of importance. Im going to share them with you and then wake them apart. Talk about why they matter, or maybe why they dont. This is direct impact the. All right, let me bring you up to date on some of these big stories that were referring to. Just a little while ago that again, you likely would not have seen if you were watching television news. Just lets say in the United States. I think the biggest story is victoria nolan, victoria no one is out at the state department. Theres something that goes with that too. Did you see what happened with president zalinski . His wife . Man, she did something really weird that were going to be talking about. George galloway. Oh, my goodness, the George Galloway tape. Its a tape its being seen around the world that im gonna let you see a part of it because youre going to be talking about it for some time. Joe biden says, no. What is the right . I mean, he says, no, but the cause of war is escalating. It is escalating as both these just what happened this week . German general scott, right handed, planning an attack on russia. Boy, thats something youve got to listen to. I mean, talk about getting caught red handed. It really is a case of that in the spring board. Its saying that mr. Trump will be on all the balance in the United States all 50 states. Also this y r u. S. Troops now patrolling new york some ways. A kind of weird. I think. I dont know what you think. And china, it says to can play this game. Theyre telling Us Tech Companies get out a drive. All right, were joined now by our panel. I got a nixon is the host of be critical. Our on sputnik jamal thomas, whos lines on sputnik. I talked to these guys all the time about things that are going on in the world and that we get to share some of our thoughts with you. Lets start with victoria new and how big a deal is a jamal . The fact that she is out and whats the signal that thats ends, lets say you are, lets just say, pretend you have a lot of mirror, you zalinski right now, and you just turn this news. What are you thinking . Oh my god. Theyre not going to continue to support me. That would be my 1st let me give you my victoria doland is one of the architects of that war. I mean, and you know, cookies and all this other stuff. Um yeah, she is directly related to pushing an agenda. Appreciating church can ukraine was the main point. Heres how. 1 it was presented here in the United States. Lets tell us the dates in precise context of the recording and not known. And youd under the us some precedent to ukraine. Jeffrey piets discuss which of the countries opposition leaders theyd like to see in government. And they refer to getting the un involved. So that would be great, i think, to help glue this thing and have the un help fluid. And you know, the, you know, exactly, and i think weve got to do something to make it stick together because you can be pretty sure that if it does, if it does start to gain altitude, the russians will be working behind the scenes to try to torpedo it now i probably dont have to tell you garland where that was about. If you listen to it, you know that that was the smoking gun that seemed to prove to most people around the world that victoria newland had everything to do in 2014. With that code at the top, where she tried to get rid of a democratically elected president in ukraine sense and shes been running the entire operation. It seems right. How important do you think this decision is today . Do you think its going to have an effect or no, or do you agree with them . I think its very important and i think the people that will be the most concerned will be the very hawkish leaders in europe. I think they understand that theyre the, theyre the support for the ukraine. You know, kind of project is waning in the United States, particularly in congress that donald trump is a ripple in the Republican Party now. And theyre not getting any money out of congress. And i think they are now concerned that theyre most ardent support or the person that would keep the u. S. Machine focused on ukraine is gone and that well have an effect on their ability to maintain continuity. You dont think theres it and there are other people around her. I mean, uh, who will no doubt continue to push this thing and see if they can make it happen. Yeah, imagine that means you by just going to give a speech to the state of the union talking about were going to be with you praying for as long as it takes about villain is particularly can take or so let me give you my cheese directly or one of those think shes worked with dick cheney at one point meeting shes, shes like neil calling for new god. Well, you spoke about that state of the union and i think one of the weirdest things that ive seen in a long time, and i dont know if you guys know about this, but theres something going on right now where the 1st lady misses sullen. So the lens is that pronounced correctly, because when you pronounce that females name and russian breaks, you actually change that a little bit. So president is a landscapes wife, has decided that even though she was invited by the Us Government and by joe biden, the 1st lady of the United States to go and sit next to her at the state of the union. She said, no, shes not going to sit next to her. And the reason shes decided not to say next door is because apparently novalis wife was also invited and she said if shes going, im not going. Apparently they dont like each other. And apparently it has to do with something ive only said about cry meal. But what a weird situation said this woman who is essentially the lady of ukraine is invited to sit next to the 1st lady of the United States. And she says, no, im not gonna go well and it also goes to show that below this argument that this entire ukrainian problem started in february of 2022. That there was a long, historical background to your involving. I mean, you could go all the way back to the crusades and why are they calculate from the neighbor river on to poland and how the cedars got stopped at that neighbor river. But the bottom line is when it comes down to it, 0 is a deep intellectual conversation to be had about ukraine. Its not just about Vladimir Putin woke up one day and got angry. And i think this is evidence that there is more to this conflict than meets the eye. Here is the 1st lady of ukraine giving a speech. This is not a speech recently. This is when she was invited by nancy pelosi to speak in around congress. Here it is, usually the wise of president s are exclusively engaged in peaceful affairs, their location, human rights, equality, accessibility and maybe you expected from me to speak on those topics. But how can i talk about them when and improve ok and provoke, invasive terrorist war is being waged against, and my country of russia is destroying all with people. And this just, im so sorry for saying this, and i dont mean to be disrespectful, but it seems like something you would hear about in high school. Its, its, i mean its keep in mind that story, but the us has given us all of the started on, you know, just recently in 2022 and met them. It was a long history in the way the goal of pointing out building historical context, right. And for whatever reason, in order to justify all of the money and Everything Else that weve been putting into this particular conflict, weve had to ignore reality itself. Output is trying to take over all of your that seems to be the way theyre going in those places little and she was pushing in a speech. I want to show you guys something now, because did you want to Say Something i would add this, and heres another reality that i suspected it 1st. She hates russians. There isnt. There isnt an ethnic racism, whatever you want to call it, that here the unit that is in, in the ukraine that the United States has pushed to take advantage of to make short for many, many years. Oh, went back to the fiftys and the band there at the band. Right now the russians and i think part of it is shes not going to sit next to one of those things was in are english, their right to age button. Yeah. But she also hates devolving, which is interesting. In fact, apparently that zalinski government hates and of all me in the office that there were even citing with bowden just last week. And there was a report that in the mom a had been killed by to the ones who came out and said no to didnt killing me. Died of natural causes. Yeah. But again, you get back to this, they just hate right since and they are happy to see another russian day, and theyre not going to sit next to a russian. They dont want to sing a russian song. They dont want to a street named after a russian, and i think thats what it comes down to it. She cant go back to the band of rights and say, oh yeah, i sat next to a russian person and smile. So they have that in common with the with, with victoria and right. Seems like its all the victoria. No one is making money. Rush. I, shes worth somewhere between 2. 00 and 8000000. 00, even though she makes a government salary of 180000. 00. Ive always wondered how you get to those big figures when youre in a government job, but i think we could figure it out in the case of victoria now. Yeah, she will be fine. She will be fine. Yeah, she works really. All right, dont bridge organization, which essentially does our Foreign Policy when theyre not working for the government, its only a freaking thing. All right, here we go. This is i think one of the best moments of the week. This is the esteemed George Galloway after returning to the british parliament. Being asked of question by a reporter and its fascinating as you watch this because it may be you tell me what you think after you watch this. And you can do so on twitter and rick sanchez, tv. And you dont think this is one of the best take downs of a corporate type reporter that youve seen in a long time period is. I dont respect the members. Do i respect the Prime Minister . I despise the Prime Minister and get millions and millions and millions of people in this country despise the Prime Minister. I dont respect the Prime Minister at all. There is something about him standing up to somebody whos giving your lot. I love it. I love it. I love it, what, what do you love about . Because the foreigner is oftentimes when somebody is doing an interview like that, theres actually a particular question putting you on the spot with you and asking you the question in a way that kind of suggests the answer that you expect to get. I think it was the Prime Minister because i thought seems like research. So that came up basically batch do are you know, you dont have a feeling of other students, not only do i not respect this buys. Yeah. Yeah. Its like you to be on. I dont care. Yeah. Its not just vice Prime Minister. So youre bringing this. I think even what we said you acting like he brought down the 10 commandments. It was like, he just was watching that i wasnt just thinking about what you said, which is, you know, putting a reporter in his by for asking a stupid question. Im almost thinking that there are people in this world and especially in the western media that if you said to them something like, do you know that there may be another perspective than the one that your sharing do . You know, for example, theres a different perspective than what you believe in terms of israels right to go in there and kill so many palestinians. Do you know theres a different perspective on the ukranian story . Do you know what happened in 2014 and ukraine . They would look at you like you have horns coming out of your head and i dropped the sense that when he said that right, garland to that reporter when he challenged reported with, why are you bringing up the Prime Ministers name like i have to bow. What do you say is name is a lot of people disagree with the Prime Minister that the reporter did not understand that. Right . Because i think i saw that, that a reporter as a personal cell, we have a certain protocol, particularly in brittany when we must be printing properties. And we must so respects to the institutions, etc. There are people that are furious at these institutions and by carry this week through uh, George Galloway. Theyre saying that so George Galloway said, no, im not going to respect your protocol. Im going to stand up for these people in the street that are suffering and say, do you go jump in a lake . We dont like it. Hes saying there is another perspective about there. Yeah, you need to listen to it as well. And apparently he made the point very fortunately in ways that ive never seen it made perhaps so well, im gonna show you a piece of video right now. And when we come back, i want you guys to talk about this. What youre going to see right now, right here, are german generals, as theyre actually discussing what it is that they plan to do in russia. Take a listen to this, i came to the conclusion that there are 2 interesting targets bridge in the east, and the munition depos above the originally east is hard to reach. Its a rather small target for the tourist can be, im honest indeed, most of also about it. Even if we consider the bridge, i dont think taurus is enough and we need to have an idea of how its only for, for that satellite data. You know, i dont know if we can train the ukrainians for such a task in a short time, and were talking about a month. Theyre talking about bombing a russian bridge. Theyre talking about bombing a russian bridge. When we come back, well take that apart as well. Stay with us, dont go at the lowest points of your plans through the longest the most. Whats the the, whats the with the electric vehicle currently in the motion store load or the for the money and dumb of the school in which it seems to stay on the the welcome back. Im rick sanchez, is a special edition of direct impact where we, where we talk through the stories of the week and ive got to tell you, i found this story to be absolutely fascinating. It after i listen to these, these german generals for a long time planning a bombing of a russian bridge using a tourist missile. I can help but ask myself, are they trying to start with war 3 . Are they trying to start way more 3 . I mean, is this what these guys are doing . Heres a piece of that of that leaked audio kind with us. Yeah. Hot. It doesnt matter. We need to ensure that from the very beginning, there is no mention that would make us a lot of the conflicts. Might im exaggerating a bit, but if we tell the minister now that we plan meetings and well drive by call from walgreens and also that no one notices thats already participation and we want to do that. Yeah. So let me ask you the question that i just asked our esteemed viewers all over the world. Are they trying to start world war 3 . So, you know, i think that one of the things that this shows is that they dont really believe the propaganda that Vladimir Putin is a med man that cant be trusted. That they dont really believe that because they believe that they wouldnt take these kind of chances that they believe they can get away with it. And even if they get caught, they feel like, well, hes reasonable, hes not going to attack us. I see what youre saying. There thats interesting because all we hear about putting is hes a madman, hes a bad man and hes about to invade all of europe. Oh my god. And you cant take those kind of chances. What the may may again basically theyre saying no, we dont, we dont, we dont, we, we must not think much of him bad. Exactly. Right. I mean, do you think that the german chancellor knew that this was happening . Nope. I mean it the way the conversations that he says when i feel a chance and were going to go from so and so, and so, and so, and he even makes the point of saying like, you know, we dont want to be involved. We dont want any a fingerprint, so any and Everything Else is unclear whether its towards muffles, obviously, or. So this is a big space thing. It sounds like the german, they just, i do what they kept coming to, you know, as the story is, the one is running, the german government, the shots know. And even when the story broke, germany freaked out, we said were going to do an investigation to figure out when we came from ignoring the contents of a weak. Yes. Oh my gosh, that is so important. Im so glad you say that part of my passion responding to what you just said, but if theres one and im glad you said that, and thats why were having this conversation. If 1st of all, im a journalist, you know what i love other than my wife and my kids, and my producers and i always love to mix. Yeah. I love leaks, thinking im all for needs as many links. As of course, i dont want the atomic bomb or government secrets that can hurt somebody. But generally speaking of you know, something about my government that i, as a citizen should know, i want that lead. Thats why. 4 respect julia massage and everything is that hes done. We just heard the german chancellor come out and essentially say not as you say, if were going to go after these generals for doing this, for planning a pac on russia, which could literally create a world wide configuration. No, he says were going to investigate how this link got out. Thats crazy. Well and it, it just goes to show that he actually understands how powerless he is. He already understands that hes powerless in the face of the us power of you in the face of us imperialism. But he realizes that within his own government, hes powerful. He understands, as they all do, that in this me a fraudulent a ukrainian proxy work that all of the neo cons in the hawks around the you are getting their opportunity to throw a missile the were a rock any time they want to. But oh, la shields. No, he understands the limits of his power. Lets talk about donald trump. Yes. Because this announcement was made by our steam to media. Been using that word a lot during this newscast here it is. Weve learned that it was a 9 to nothing decision and ruling that donald trump can be on. The ballad in colorado and other states, even justices during the oral argument, seemed very skeptical of the idea that one state could decide for the nation. Whether donald trump was an insurrection to us and was therefore disqualified under this 150 year old provision. Now theres a lot of talk in the United States, certainly on the last gentleman that uh, this is a Supreme Court thats bought and sold bess. Donald trumps Supreme Court, its a conservative court judge course they were going to put donald trump on the court on, on the balance, despite the fact that hes a quote unquote insurrection is okay. Argument accepted, not, im not an unpopular argument, a fair argument, but heres the problem. And where i can decide with this particular Supreme Court decision, i set it earlier in the week on one of our newscasts. If you allow one state to side or decide, cool is allowed to run in that state. Then what will have, i fear in the future is a case where if you have 25 republican states you, youre going to have 25 states where the democrat is not allowed to run. And if you have 25. 00 democratic states, youre going to have 25. 00 states where the republic is not going to be allowed to run. And that will, will really create hell in this process, the high opinion, what do you, what do you said, really . I mean, it to be fair, its one of the arguments Supreme Court made themselves. I mean, i say congress shouldnt make this decision and not the state, right. But when you were actually in the argument, and this is one of the things that basically came up, this kind of came around system of governance and Everything Else. But the reality of it is they are trying to say that donald trump, so im lucky, im not a fan of front. Oh, so like i do, thats okay. Were not here. A little 9 justices 3 of which were liberal justices that still came down and the exact same side say, you cant do this once. They cant pull a man on the ballot for one who was in charge with insurrection. Mm. To he was a convicted events, erection, i mean get other copy gets big like may for example, thing. Yeah, i know, im just a secretary of state, but scarlet, im going to go to colorado and i think where theyre wise, if youll allow me, is garlan. When they say, if you want to call them and interaction us, then congress has to come out and put that stamp on his forehead and them after they do that, they can make a decision that ends or insurrection has, are not allowed to run. Cause what happened after the civil war, the United States for candidates were removed because sorry, you were on the wrong side. Im not sure theres enough proof for that in this case. Or am i wrong . I agree with the person that has to be convicted of something. There has to be some of factual evidence to show that they were that he was, that is a final decision. Ok, hes even insurrection if that hasnt happened to the other part. Oh, i believe he invited all those people who ended up acting as insurrection is that day. But i dont think because he invited them and then they den something that he gave them exact marching orders. Yes, not a problem. Yes. My point is theres been no finding of fact correct. Hes done that so you dont have anything. And the other part of it is the slippery slope. The next thing that kind of a state does is they pass a ruling in the state. You cant run if x yeah. And then they can use the law. And now that has to go in, you dont want to open the door for that for the 4 states to be able to find various methods within their own state to disqualify federal. Lets talk about Something Else ready when i go to latin america and the caribbean, which im sure you guys have gone to one of the things that always bother me when i go there. And especially with my wife and kids as i go to the beach and theres a guy in the military fatigues and a young gun and well, yeah, my god, theres something i dont know that theyre putting the stuff out sooner by way. And same thing at the store, same thing at the parks, and ive always wanted a man. Im so glad i live in a country. We dont see the military visually out there. Well, guess what . Look at these pictures. Look at us. This is new york by the way. Oh sorry, i jumped ahead. Lets do that story. Lets do this. This is not, this is not the some. Ok, we are going to somebody. Ok, look at this. This is the some ways of new york city. And there are now troops, a 1000 of them really 250 troopers and 750 National Guard. Same people we sent to iraq and afghanistan. Theyre now in new york city petroleum. And some ways, i dont like the price of freedom rick price of freedom. What does that mean . I dont know what these jobs do. It said it was just ready with a no. I said its a horrible look. I think. But look, are we like its one thing, is it cops . Military is different. So thats, thats my point. Yes. Is that i sit there. I say, 3rd world a little bit. I mean, the military is, you know, so like ford parties not domestic. And its a little bit strange to see military pulls the cops doing the job. And the question is, why, why on earth did you have to go to National Guard as opposed to using your own police force in order to do the job . Whats going on to deal with this semester . Well, of 3 people, dad, in the last couple of months, a conductor had a stroke flushed. A couple of things are going out of new york. Ill take another position. You know, i was retired want for some it when i go back and look at the guys in my and girls in my agency, i dont know. Thats what they look like. And i, you didnt tell me the way the cops are dress now in fatigues with the ones if you didnt tell me that they werent soldiers in a lot of states. I wouldnt know. I just think they, they were cops that are cops had been so military. Right. Yeah. Cit, oftentimes theyre running around in the year. Yeah. In times. Yeah. They have Different Missions like, like from my point is like your diversity on. Its because you are, youve been the Previous Police officer, but the military from one of you has a job of dealing with foreign adversary square, sending them over there to do something. Which is the reason why its so bad that theyre militarize in a plea for it, for the Police Forces that supposedly gets the citizenry. That to me is. Yeah, i gotta tell you its, its a picture. I never thought id see. I dont like looking at it and were not talking about a disturbance or a riot. Were just talking about another day in new york. Yeah, im saying troops on the streets and subways is not a pretty picture. Thanks so much guys for coming in. Thanks so much for this conversation. I think this is important. Im glad we do it this way. This is direct impact. Thanks so much for being with us because, you know, our mission is pretty simple. Here. We are really just trying to not keep the troops in little boxes where youve got to be on one side or another. Truth is everywhere, complex, and should be looking for you again, right here, where we help to provide a direct effect the of force you estimate abrams tank falls to the russian army. Well, one of the mighty challenge or tanks, the u. K is gifted to ukraine, gets stuck in the during simple training exercises. And the whole fiasco is captured on camera by british media. And the tank is just sunk in, slit in, and out there waiting for recovery there. In the green lights, a law that gives citizenship to non most of the for national, the plane from afghanistan, bangladesh and packers fan praising concerns among muslim minorities and as the guys in Health System has been devastated by the war, our to special projects, human shields, documents the story of a doctor for us to
