Its hard to say i think maybe right now but i mean down the line i hate to say theres with down the line if things really keep spiraling out of control when it comes to covert then you have to look at that however criminalizing mask wearing is not its one thing for you know a city or state to say hey we need you to wear this its criminalizing its a whole other thing because as you and i both know im sure they wont be out there busting folks in georgetown or in manhattan for not wearing their mass properly theyre going to go into poor communities and theyre going to go into communities that cant afford to pay excessive fines or communities are already been thrown in jail numerous times for idiotic your crimes thats where theyre going to go and youre absolutely correct and this is the exact same thing that happened with social distancing mandates before the before the reopening because in places like chicago new york even d. What we saw was a lot of patrolling going on in africanamerican and latino communities meanwhile if you go to the wider sides of town those neighborhoods were also throwing parties they were also not social distancing they were not Wearing Masks and there was no penalty for them so what we see consistently is that those fines and fees that jail time it happens for minorities its not something thats equally applied across the board no no and its mere reminds me a lie thats the biggest fear with this kind of thing is the i dont think we should criminalize not Wearing Masks depending on what the situation maybe is if its like look like if you go in there without the mask on puts many many lives in danger maybe there is an argument to be made for criminalization of no. Where and in a specific instance theres an argument i dont know but yeah to me this feels a lot like you know the enforcement would be like stop and frisk in new york you know nobodys stopping for a 2nd to find people carrying drugs or paraphernalia on wall street or what theyre doing in harlem and.
