Big banks are once again in gauging in the same kind of criminal behavior that led to the last economic meltdown this is what happens when bankers dont get punished when they dont go to prison for breaking the law joining me to talk about this is fair and cousins and the trial lawyer magazine obviously one of the best Young Political commentators i think in the business i really do believe you are fair i think you are so pick up the story would you well what were finding out now is whistleblowers of course have come forward and say listen the bank im working at and pro publica has done a phenomenal job of tracking as the bank im working at is doing the same thing they did back in 0607 in a way which is using these Mortgage Backed securities over inflating their values selling them to investors knowing theyre going to fail and reaping a huge profit from it now a lot of that im sure a lot of people say i. I dont understand most of those words you just said so rule quick the Mortgage Backed security what that is you get all these but the bank takes a bunch of different mortgages puts them together in a bundle and then it sells that bundle to an investor like a bond and as people pay the mortgages the people who invested in that get paid now if the people dont pay the mortgages the investors have lost their money but the bank made all the money up front right so whats happening now is we saw it with the housing industry last time we had bankers we had banks and bankers credible banks i mean who used to be. You know they were just making stuff up somebody would come in and they would say well we know that youre only making 30000. 00 a year but we want to put you in this 300000 dollar home so they would just make stuff up they would so theyre doing it again but this time theyre doing it with commercial property and theyre bundling all this garbage up this garbage and garbage comes in information thats garbage comes in says that this investor cant afford to to can afford this building they know they cant so actually theyre actually theyre actually phony end up applications arent they right what whistleblowers have said is that some of these applications theyre seeing the income of the person seeking the loan the bank is forging it up to 30 percent so if youre making 100000. 00 a year the bank says you know what were going to put down that youre making 130000. 00 a year because thats going to bump you up in income bracket and now youre going to be. You know you qualify for this loan that we know you cant pay and thats thats the kicker here and again as you mentioned now theyre doing it with the retail spaces and retail is dying across the run injury and it might after this cove the pandemic you know people are saying do we really need brick and mortar right cant we work from home. I think its going to take a big hit the point is this its the same criminals doing the same criminal activity again and whats the worst thing the worst thing is that we have theres not been any reform at all for the Credit Rating agencies right why is that important well thats important because these Credit Rating agencies are the ones they come and they tell you whether or not this is worthwhile investment if this is something thats even going to to pay off if this bank is even credible you know and because we havent changed the way its all the same people doing the same day hes working with one another because they didnt go to prison right its a criminal cartel last time the bankers didnt go to prison and if you what i always found really weird about that story is during the s. And l. Crisis even Ronald Reagan put 800 bankers in prison ok and so so we here we are we had a Justice Department with eric holder who represented all these people their law firm covington and burling represents all these criminal thugs so nobody went to prison the f. B. I. Has accidently released Important Information about saudi arabias role in the 911 attacks information that the government has tried to keep it in now ok we know this the root of it we know the royal family if this all the track goes right to the royal family they knew what was taken place they actually engineered Bank Accounts they engineered places for people to live for the for the Saudi Arabian terrorist where they could live they had their all this has their fingerprints all over the f. B. I. Tried to hide this from the families of the 3000 people who were murdered all these people want to do is become been cited for the murder of their mother or their father or their child they would be compensated and the f. B. I. Has hidden the fact that you have the royal family directly involved in 911. Take it from a rise out of overstatement by absolutely not i mean 1000 years the f. B. I. Has known that there was a link between al qaeda the terrorist who pulled off 911 and the saudi royal family and that link is a person by the name of. A mob. Rug and that person was an official. Here in the United States and what this new lawsuit the f. B. I. Accidently unveiled in these Court Documents used me is that he was the go between he was the go between between the hijackers and prince bandar who everybody remembers from the photographs when george w. Bush Walking Around hand in hand that was the guy and the intermediary would talk to bandar he would then go talk to the hijackers there is no more question the link has now been established and the f. B. I. Is scrambling to try to say well this is state secrets we cant the only reason a state secrets is because these these thugs this royal family bunch of thugs sells us oil and they buy our weapons thats the only reason that this is we have 3000 deaths the biggest murder in america and theyre hiding this guy you remember right after 911 how they secretly snuck everybody all the saudis out of the country you know that this is part of that and so this is the kind of unmasking that the f. B. I. Says oops we didnt mean to release this in this is i this is historically changing what we know about 911 at this point but then you know we have to lead from this into the other unmasking story dont wait because thats big news too and what were finding out there is that sometimes the f. B. I. Releases information not accidentally but intentionally yeah and so its an organization that has no trust no integrity whatsoever what why why are. Progressives not reacting to the fact that on the the commie brennan clapper story lets assume less assume that flynn did somebody have a bad conversation lets assume that thats the case in the Church Hearings that took place in the United States they took place because the spook industry was using access to classified material leaking it and making that person a target you dont do that in the United States where you dont have a spook industry whos trying to formulate whos going to win for president and thats what brennan did thats what komi did and thats what clapper did and these documents show it why isnt it why are progressive not outraged by that who cares if flynn did you know the conversation at all they got on flynt at this point is a fact he committed perjury probably should be prosecuted out of that but the real point the real point here is you have the spook industry that is this trying to manipulate the president of the United States and its ugly little it landed with whats interesting to me is the fact that you had you know since the 1st day of the patriot act you know democrats progressive liberals were all anti this whole intelligence apparatus but then suddenly they come out and say hey we were investigating trump now and then you saw this immediate shift where these same people who knew that these agencies were bad faith actors but now theyre cheering of theyre cheering people like brennan who 5 years before they were calling for him to go to prison can you imagine if george bush had released information about obama through his spy agency i mean these progressives who dont seem to think oh this is not a problem jesus christ Jeff Jeff Bezos has made 30000000000. 00 during the coronavirus pandemic but thats not going to stop him from cutting 2 extra dollars off workers. Ferran this is the most outrageous story to go lay it out right amazon workers whove been you know hundreds of them have come down with her own of 600. 00 and they were getting an extra 2. 00 an hour and i think extra over time if they were working overtime. During this pandemic because theyre in essential Service People are relying on them now more than ever because they cant leave their homes they need the stuff and bays those did a good they said all right heres 2 bucks an hour heres your extra overtime and during that same time man makes 30000000000. 00 and he gets all this money and he says i probably could make a lot more if i wasnt giving you this hazard pay in this overtime pay so he came out last week the end of last week and said june 1st youre losing your 2 bucks an hour youre losing your time and i need i guess i need more money because yeah a 1000000000 there is enough 1000000000. 00 he made on the backs of these workers who risked their health they risk the health of their family already working in an environment that is totally dysfunctional all the bees those regards these people as disposable units thats how you regard these ows thinks of his workers as something just a cut above robots ok so all of a sudden we see this freak start saying everybody well you know were going to give you some extra hazard pay because youre coming in here youre putting yourself at risk youre putting your family at risk he makes 30000000000. 00 and then says oh i got a cut that 2. 00 an hour i was given you i got a cut that whats happened to capitalism in this country i mean really what in the hell has happened capitalism in this country we used to think microsoft in. Facebook and twitter all these all these or digital organizations were going to change capitalism have they done that oh absolutely not but we as a country were so desperate for some buy. To emerge as a leader a hero figure and at 1st you know maybe its going to be bill gates but maybe not so much owed Mark Zuckerberg no not him hes spying on you ok what about bays 06 amazon thats written oh hes treating his workers you know worse than. Wild animals theyre having to pee in bottles yeah i guess thats a true story isnt came out and then amazon tried to discredit the story workers couldnt take the time to use a restroom facility they were paying in bottles workers for this guy were putting their life at risk by going in there every day and potentially taking the virus home and giving it to their spouses and their children and he thinks 2. 00 an extra hour i only made 30000000000. 00 what in the world is going on with mentality of these modern digital capitalists they they may have started off you know as idealists and im going to change the world for the better but as soon as they started getting those checks as soon as their bank account started going crazy with more money than they could ever spend in a 1000 lifetimes it changed him it absolutely corrupted every single one of these individuals a mosque is a great example to you know he is out there saying even though im not allowed to im going to reopen im going to force my workers to go back oh well whatever happens to him he thinks hes a modern day rosa parks you know ignoring these are well heres a heres the point when this all started we said these new digital magnates theyre going to change capitalism is going to be better for workers theyre going to allow Union Workers they dont take their health care theyre going to take care of their people this guy is exhibit a for what idiots we were for even suggesting that you know fair and cousins thank you for joining me ok thank you for coming up as the country is doing Everything Possible to curb the spread of florida virus whats happened as we have of the. List mass surveillance thats taking place back in the media spotlight finally were taking a look at whats been happening while weve been worried about this virus congress is now sparring over the renewal of the patriot act and it could become more expansive than ever that and more when we come back. Join me everything on the alec simon chill and ill be speaking to us from the world of politics sports business im show business ill see if that. Has you noticed in your restaurant that they blow up patrons arent consuming anything the solution according to the policymakers would be to make them blow up consumers bigger like and inject more you know helium or oxygen into the blow up and that all somehow improve the situation theyre not taking into consideration of their dead lifeless that they cant consume just like the moneys velocity number shows us that for now a couple of decades has been dying and recently the money velocity is down pretty much and. You are no offense but you no longer a young woman in fact you are one of the last living survivors of the nazi ellis asked im aware of that. Leverage at. All you know. You can never forget maybe you can now auschwitz was really like to be in hell because he would never believe that want to go to as a copy of a course for 33 years and know if im going to be good or bad at all shes a lot over time you decide you will make it right when i get out on the farm saw you know when you take my song to her next place and hopefully bless her heart her experience. The patriot act is for extension with the us freedom authorization act of 2020 the votes of now all been tallied for several amendments in order to receive this joins me now to talk about the status of those votes would you follow these kinds of stories along to give me your take on whats happening in washington with the patriot. Well look everybody is so worried about the coronavirus right now but there are other things going on behind the scenes i know that congress has taken some time off because of this but they have been voting on these bills and these amendments to the patriot act now this bipartisan amendment that was introduced by democratic senator ron wyden and republican senator steve daines received 59 of the 60 votes that were required to pass and this bill would essentially ensure that under section 215. 00 of the patriot act they could not be collecting peoples internet search histories and web browsing histories as well but it did not pass by one vote and it didnt fail due to a lack of bipartisan support but reportedly due to the absence of 4 senators now among those missing from the vote were senator Lamar Alexander who was in self isolation following the coded 1000 diagnosis of a fellow staffer Washington State senator patty murray was also absent an aide for her says that she would have voted in favor of the amendment securing it enough votes to pass but shed actually been on her way back to d. C. When the vote was called senators Bernie Sanders and ben fast were also absent but its unclear why. Well tell me tell me about the a memo ok there was there was an attempt to say we need to revisit whats going on with the patriot act we think its being. Used in ways that it shouldnt be used we need to we need to take another look at it and so there was a minimum that was attached to the usa freedom reauthorization act is i think its called it was introduced by Senate Majority leader Mitch Mcconnell what can you tell me about that provision and what would it have meant. To take another look at the patriot act in a way that were honest with ourselves where there is no more privacy and ask for me to say well yeah mcconnells proposed amendment to the usa freedom reauthorization act with essentially allow the f. B. I. To collect web browsing history is from anyone without probable cause now since the wyden deigns amendment failed mcconnell provision unfortunately stands for now while the usa freedom authorization act cleared the senate its now going to the house where privacy advocates are expected to propose some more changes so its citizens are concerned they can still reach out to their elected representatives and pressure them to take action but unfortunately in the house at least 10 democrats did side with Mitch Mcconnell here and that includes Dianne Feinstein nancy pelosi and mark warner so its its unclear whether theyre going to whether people asking for the house to do anything is really going to be effective your position would have been at least lets take a look at it see if we can modify it in a way thats more you know its a little fair to both sides of that argument i think is has been your position on that thanks appreciate it thank you for joining me ok. Thanks frank women with textured Breast Implants are experiencing abnormally high rates of cancer and its now believed that these implants are to blame lawsuits are beginning to emerge against allegan the company that manufactures these implants and theyve been linked to a very specific type of cancer attorney virginia became enjoys me now to talk about this virginia lay this story out for me youre running this National Litigation and what new jersey right it is its before judge mark to 90 in new jersey and i along with 3 are hugely experienced judge by yes very well respected and very efficient even through this pandemic but. Im working along with 3 other attorneys because its such a big project that it is a mass toward and a class action claim but in july of 29000 on july 24th the f. D. A. Issued a recall and it came on the heels of several other countries issuing recalls for these technical identity and 3 country at 38 of the current count and and the others were really ahead of us on this because i think that al are again had superficially appeared to comply with f. D. A. Requirements but we learned last week that the f. D. A. Issued a warning letter to our again saying that it had not collected the data that it was required under its premarket approval conditions to comply with so we have a 2000 and 6 pm a process in 820131 word studies were not done to prove no cods to prove and we know coming out of the 1st round of Breast Implants all the way back to the early ninetys. Those implants caused a whole host of auto immune diseases scleroderma a rim out syndrome surat just a whole host of of diseases people were live at losing their hair do you remember i tried these cases where i am right there was a hair loss that they had this hard encapsulation to where the breast point had to be removed. And sometimes rick resulted in a full message to me but this is bad is that was is even worse is called our lower home it is it is michael and this this is a signature injury that now the World Health Organization recognizes as a distinct Breast Implant related illness and al are again the defendant in this class action this National Litigation is the manufacturer of these implants and it is the company that has failed to comply with f. D. A. Guidance to establish the safety and the ongoing safety of the im going whats the public right now if he knows that they were able to comply is a yes thats absolutely true came out just last week as a matter of fact but the sad part about this is that the women who had these implants are often Breast Cancer survivors and the way the texture and implants work is that the human tissue it hears around the implants so removing them is a very very difficult process results in mastectomy and it was much worse than a mastectomy it is a full on block removal basically a removal of the chest all of the tissue below it sometimes cartilage and reconstructing breast tissue requires flaps to be created muscle transfers from other parts of the body so its here you saw the good news here is that of those horrible story you just told us the only good news is youre in front of an experience judge who has seen things like this before and youve got a team put together a National Team thats trying to coordinate a taking discovery here correct be trying to make sure that these women get compensated for this but here is where as i look at this from the outside looking in and i mean obviously our law firm is involved with that but having done Breast Implant one in seeing the suffering that came out of this there is no way on earth allegan could not have drawn on that history to know that their product was a piece of junk right it is a bad product out of baxter properly engineered and we think improperly manufactured that they. Likely did not comply with their manufacturing specifications and were hoping to get discovery to look at all of the actual documents and representations made but we have some information out of french inspections and that really gives us a lot of thought that they manufactured these things outside the scope of the specifications that were approved so it looks like they threw it on the market they grabbed a big market share and then they just didnt do their Due Diligence there after the most troubling thing to me is all they had to do was talk to the scientists that went through Breast Implant one thats all they had to talk to the scientists to understand how bad this news on its face so they had this texture to the employer to thinking well if we had texture you wont have that hard encapsulation that takes place some time well and you know that my dating through the the texture migrating through the body that thats part of the process that it becomes particle laden and the body can absorb and dissolve so we do think thats a contributing factor lymphoma is an illness of implementation so theyve created all of these things going on with these implants because in the texturing process that adds to the inflammation and the development youre history is a trial ignorant historys a trial lawyer is extraordinary youve tried some the biggest cases in the country if youre looking at this is this one that you feel like youre probably going to go to trial with youre probably going to have to take them to trial to get a resolution which is all i think so from what were hearing right now you know the litigation is in the stages of trying to get discovery really trying to hold our again accountable for what it hasnt done were happy to see the f. D. A. Working in a way in step with us to try to hold what you value most of all very unusual especially in a Republican Administration its unusual but were very grateful because these women are victims of betting on you well thank you im betting on these wonderful women they are brave theyre intelligent theyre committed to this and. Theyve been through so much that they are poster children for why we did what we did thanks for joining me ok average yes thank you michael finally tonight some good news the securities and Exchange Commission has announced that theyre going to investigate the companies that have taken loans from the coronavirus stimulus package specifically those companies that have taken money as part of the Small Business loan program the Paycheck Protection Program was supposed to provide billions to americas Small Business to keep them running during this pandemic but instead the fund was pillaged by large corporations who exploited loopholes in the bill and all more than 300. 00 publicly traded Companies Got their hands on the money that was meant for mom and pop Small Business their c.
