Now i want to have. This guy as well charisma you cant just buying votes you cant just buy voters the way that bloomberg thought that he could the way that all of us were ruling that he would do at the end of the day if you got up on that stage and he had charisma he looked staff he looked awkward he looked like that strange cartoon about a billionaire that we see he was like a cartoon of an evil billionaire and i think we all just saw that and it was i just dont think he has any chance whatsoever moving forward he has way too much baggage with skeletons that are not even in the closet anymore theyre all out in the open and i dont think hes going to be able to get get over there was. Only excuses are the same excuses that trump has well you know i mean whatever he doesnt have yes but this trump got elected ok let me go to you in washington but bloomberg is moving up in the polls ok i mean i started out this program by quoting bob dylan you know money does scream and a lot of people are accepting it and that is that is contributing to his moving up in the polls here money is a big factor in politics unfortunately moloch go ahead and Washington Well theres a song thats money power and respect is what you need in life and bloomberg case its pretty i think what we saw with the last debate where he was actually in there is that that money really doesnt matter at all and. This is something that the Democratic Party actually has to get a hold on bloomberg to me he had a terrible debate performance because there was a lot of expectations that this money and the number the amount of support that hes got and lets not forget that hes actually getting a lot of endorsements from around the country from a lot of black people and it did not translate on stage last night the point the different points where he was hit on his response to why he hasnt released his taxes reminded me of the response that donald trump gave his response to Elizabeth Warren actually hitting him over the end das the nondisclosure agreements what bloomberg essentially said was well they signed it and i just dont think that thats something thats going to serve them well and keep in mind that limburg is not going to be on the ballot and too simple to super tuesday so were going to have i think what 4 races elections by the end bloomberg wont be on the ballot and i dont expect him to do well after the last debate at all agree with him on well see well see this i hear these echoes of 2016 in the g. O. P. Well see zach your turn here ok i dont im not discounting both of what you both said but you know we have to be a little careful ok because you know being mandarins of the universe didnt pay off in 2016 zach jump in go ahead. Yeah well bloomberg is going to need a little more gray matter if hes going to want to win over the American People unfortunately in the Democratic Party money does get you places and we are seeing him pouring money into all types of democratic causes and candidates i actually found it quite interesting how openly he was bragging about how much money he was pouring into democrats at the debate in vegas that really raises eyebrows considering all the pay to play thats been going on in the Democratic Party including in the 2016 election so i think he really opened up a few pandoras box is that are really going to do him in between the n. B. A. As you know its like keep really made trump look good for all of the bad. Showing that people have done against trying for all these Different Reasons over the years bloomberg is way worse than all of that and that and da you know im no fan of liz warren but that n. D. A. Track that she set him in you know he really made it very clear that he does not want that information coming to light and i think that on its own is a big problem much less you know the demands for transparency hes going to see coming out of this debate ok lets go back to came and i will see what the public reaction was i dont trust the reaction of liberal media i just dont ok because theyre in a bubble and they talk to themselves and you know what most of the time theyre wrong well see how that goes here cant let me stay with you in los angeles. Its the d n c that doesnt want bernie to get this nomination its quite obvious thats what bloomberg is there for so i mean we can criticize bloomberg for all we want and thats fine ok but you know at the d. N. C. This is their their what their rabbit up their sleeves here and theyve there are a lot of democrats in the leadership are putting their eggs into the bloomberg basket i mean. It gets a lot more complicated than just some guy that is wooden on stage and he didnt care he doesnt care at all if he gets the nomination or if he wins i tend to think he just wants to be a power broker and this is his you know last you know time in the sunset because you know hes giving his money away left and right you could agree or disagree with the causes but i dont think its going to bother him but im bothered by the d. N. C. Trying to torpedo Bernie Sanders again and i speak as a conservative go ahead jim. Well i mean bloomberg is not the peoples choice the one big thing is you know i understand that you dont trust the little and especially after 2016 i completely understand that every thought oh trump that one trump wont win and look what happened so i can understand that sort of sentiment like oh maybe thats the same sort of thing with bloomberg but one big thing is that trump resonates with a populist base and so does Bernie Sanders populism is here whether people like it or not it is here you can either choose left wing populism the right wing populism but thats what it was here in the base thats the movement and bloomberg does not represent the people hes not speaking for the people he is speaking for the elites so thats why i dont think bloomberg is really i i think actually the sentiment that youre seeing in the media there on twitter from the people i think that is actually real with bloomberg this time some of the media is actually resonating with the actual voters because bloomberg does come across a stiff he does come across as a hes the person that the roots have a shoved on us as the savior for the Democratic Party what does that tell us the fact that theyve chosen a republican and yet a republican billionaire to do the same for the Democratic Base shows us that they have no respect for the voter theyre not in touch at all they just do not trust the voters they think trying voters who were wrong and stupid and weve got to impeach that guy and for years and years we have to try to get the guy out of office because the voters were wrong and theyre now trying to tell us the voting based on the democratic side that route wrong as well you have that right as a problem that weve got to go after there but the billionaire moment you know they but the d. N. C. Changed the rules again you know they changed the rules of the game moved the goalpost ok they they let bloomberg on that stage it wasnt bloomberg himself it was the d. N. C. That did that what does that say about the d. N. C. In your mind go ahead. The d. N. C. Definitely deserves criticism for this and if you look at candidates like senator booker and center harris in you know castro the problem that the d. N. C. Has is that it seems pretty clear that they change the rules to been if it might bloomberg and he didnt do well last night which will be a problem i think moving forward what democrats are going to have to contend with is similar to what theyre going to have to contend with in 2016 the movement the momentum the Energy BehindBernie Sanders bloomberg unfortunately for democrats its not that candidate i cant imagine anyone who looked at bloomberg performance last night and said that they felt inspired and if you can imagine bloomberg being on stage with donald trump arguing that im a better billionaire than you know you think its the most youre going to be able to thing that happens you could sell tickets because that will be a show of a lifetime absolutely absolutely that will definitely be a show exactly what what has happened to the quote unquote moderates ok you know joe amy and pete you know what is the bloomberg effect on them go ahead. Yeah thats a great question i think that a lot of democrats are really concerned about electability which you know is getting him nowhere in general but that you know it does seem probably that bloomberg has the type of apparatus they have the type of finances that could build a campaign that could be trump in november now thats probably going to hurt you know Joe Biden Amy closure pete the cheat whatever. That will hurt them because they you know they dont have the type of media a wall street. Does wall street people work i think ok wall street pete ive got so many nicknames for him in my head. But yet you know it will you know really hurt them in terms of you know viability and bloomberg himself isnt that viable hes just got a big ship and hes you know throwing money anywhere he possibly can and people are taking it so its not going to help them and it actually was Pretty Amazing to see the democrats really eating each other alive in the debate in vegas you know we havent seen that type of thing i mean most of former democrats i myself a former democrat remember 2016 very clearly when the democratic debates were limited to 2 candidates Hillary Clinton basically bought the nomination herself Bernie Sanders was completely shut out were expecting to see the same thing this time which is why probably most independents of already left the Democratic Party and good luck bertie you know its like he is some of the things hes still saying are still relevant but the other half you know he blamed russia for rigging the election in 2016 still when we all saw with our own 2 eyes it pulled out from under him by the same crooked d. N. C. That hasnt reformed in any significant way sense they pulled it out from under him in 2016 going to go to kim kim finishes over 40 seconds for this blog go ahead finish up. I mean if the democrats want somebody whos electable they keep talking about electability then youve got to go with the people who the people want the people who are the that are the ones who have to actually cast the votes as much as the elites would love to in the general election have superdelegates they dont get super votes when it comes to battling trump out in november it really will come down to who has the fire underneath them who are the people motivated by and i think its a really sad thing when actually when you go back to 2016 Hillary Clinton had a much greater room and behind if you want to call it that Bernie Sanders clearly had the movement he clearly had the fire but Hillary Clinton actually had quite a bit of people who were willy inspired by or they wanted a female president and without most of the movement behind work when the new candidate on the set of came down thought were going to go to a short break and after that short break well continue our discussion on Michael Bloomberg stay with. A grandmother off a cliff ok ive met these people im not talking about consultants talking about voters go ahead you know i have thats a very good question if i had to guess i would say the bloomberg voters are those who believe that trump needs to be beaten by anything sas clearly ends up being that person yeah ends up being that person theyll be happy with that but you know as kim is that you know as we were saying theres no Energy Behind bloomberg and so what will happen i think is similar to what will happen in 2016 what the democrats need to pardon need to be careful is that if theyre pushing bernie out to elevate bloomberg as if hes going to rise like the phoenix like from the ashes like the phoenix and he doesnt really deliver in these debate performances its going to be a really big problem and one thing that we have to be mindful of is that in november there could be a depressed vote on the democrat side simply because there there is no Energy Behind bloomberg other than the ones who have taken his 6500. 00 checks here and there but hes not a candidate thats inspiring and i think thats going to be the problem for bloomberg he does hes a dud as a candidate but hes a rich zach hes a very rich dad and he last polling net nationwide polling 15 percent you know and bernies right around 31 i mean money buys a lot of thing so ok but you know we already brought up i said it in mind duction you know trumped arrangements and drum people might be interested in Michael Bloomberg simply for that reason but zack what happens now. Its our whole conversation is going to prove my point here were talking about bloomberg and Bernie Sanders everybody else has been deleted ok now well have the next few months until the convention its going to be this slugfest between these 2 and bernie will win ok and what that does is it and i agree with what he just said its going to be Voter Suppression its going to be people that say why go vote ok this is the d. N. C. Has screwed up again big time zach. Completely agree yet the d. N. C. You know were really going to see this cycle how much money can buy you know last time Hillary Clinton had the whole you know corporate doowop leave behind her so she really did have a huge machine shed been preparing for years for that election bloomberg not the same hes pouring as much money in were watching the money burn which is funny you know im thinking who is a bloomberg voters even have one yet mr burns from the simpson cant vote so im not even sure that hell have any votes and that can make a great point you can buy support in the primaries but you cant buy support in the general election so the democrats again completely short sighted theyre trying to submit an alternative thats not bernie since they clearly did as much as they could last time to stop bernie from getting the nomination theyre trying it with bloomberg hes basically a skeleton up there and were going to see how much money cant do it this time and its going to be really interesting to see how plays out because it does seem like bernie should get the nomination given the momentum but the Democratic Party thats the last thing they want theres so much infighting still between the sanders camp and the former clinton camp the former obama camp i mean what is the are the next caucus is going to be run by robbie mokes caucus apple going to find the results 2 weeks later in a puerto rican firehouse theres going to be developed bloomberg is going to get. Really interesting here is real meddling there theres real meddling there with robbie there thats so that we can prove that empirically ok can you explain to me whats going on bernie is not even a democrat hes a socialist and bloomberg really isnt a democrat hes a republican how do the democrats find themselves in this situation. With the democrat the rest of them are not the rest of them are just corporate bought out pantsuits that are not supportive or representative of the American People anymore Bernie Sanders is the true democrat Mike Bloomberg is an actual republican who somehow decided to switch parties because thats how. Easy it is to do that thats what it takes he just said im a democrat and now hes claiming to be one i think really whats happened here is that Bernie Sanders is clearly a threat to the elites and theyre just hoping they were hoping with bloomberg and i think a lot of the players that we saw before the debates a lot of people are hoping that bloomberg out of the moderate group be the one that would finally light people up would be the one that would finally have a moment momentum or movement behind him they thought he would be a lot more inspiring turns out hes not so theyre sitting with what through a different model its at this point people are splitting the vote between those 4 moderates theres not a clear winner out of those 4 moderates Bernie Sanders is emerged as a clear winner on the on the Progressive SideElizabeth Warren i think last night helped but i think on the debates Elizabeth Warren helped Bernie Sanders with that because i think that she essentially took away i think she exposed Michael Bloomberg and this helped bernie i think because there was a bit warners going to rise up in the places people are going to be more indicated to her and ultimately shes going to end up giving her delegates over to Bernie Sanders so the moderates on the other hand they dont have anybody running away with this ice or think its going to be brutal judge i dont think this is going to be a biden burning fight i mean i am sorry a bloomberg i have a boom boom if i move a bite and burning. Ken if i may i also dont think yeah im curious can i also dont think theyre going to let bernie actually end up being the nominee maybe booted judge seems possible but what would you say to all of the disenchanted Bernie Sanders supporters weve seen that watch the primary get started only on them trump has been calling that out trump is the only person who has been so overly commenting on how sanders had the nomination pulled out from under him literally trump is the only person bernie wont even embedded in the debate he called it russia yet again hillary is still parroting that lie we all know its a lie how do you do anybody recently think bernie could take on trump while trump is talking the truth and bernie is whining about what happened to him one of the things i think is very very interesting here we go to moloch on this here after bloomberg performance and what we have seen witnessed him do with his money but basically pay people that will say and do anything ok shamelessly all right but what that debate did is allow democrats to vote for bernie no its ok now youve been given permission now ok and that this is not what the d. N. C. Wanted of course but after that people that had these are lingering thoughts about bernie they saw that whole field the big careening the pettiness and and then the new d. N. C. Guy you know is cardboard as the id is all of a sudden bernie you have permission its ok now thats what they have done the d. N. C. Strikes again go ahead mike. Hater love Bernie Bernie is who he has been for as long as weve known bernie and thats one of the things that many people like about him hes a fighter hes consistent in that one person that we really havent talked about is joe biden. But i havent done too well but i dont think that im going to have a joe yeah but i dont think we should necessarily i dont think we should necessarily cancel biden out just yet. I mean we do have to wait until super tuesday and remember again that bloomberg is not on the ballot until super to tuesday but i think there are there is going to be a huge generational gap bernie supporter versus bloomberg supporters versus biden supporters and it will be interesting to see after we get past South Carolina how well bloomberg does anywhere because i dont know who bloomberg or natural constituency is as far as bernie i can clearly identify them as far as biden i can clearly identify them but bloomberg i dont know who its natural consistency is and so i dont think that hes going to do very well i know who or what is it that they all they all work on wall street ok thats his constituency ok. Cant cam i guess an i i think close but char is in the sunset right now i think warren tried to make up for her screw up with a insulting Bernie Sanders of being massaging his that was a huge mistake on her part and i think she and she really alienated a lot of people so that now we get to one last person i want to talk about. Where is he in all of this ok because he doesnt have the ground game hes not really good at retail politics but hes still liked by the media go ahead ken. Well i actually still think he is the lot of it to raj i still think he has no. If you want to call it a movement behind him in some way as people are more fired up about him they want to see somebody younger they want to see somebody who is fresh i think he was the emanuel a cron of the United States and i think it really says a lot of the d. N. C. Tried to put everybody against sanders you know theyve had they tried by then or biden is going to be the savior get everybodys at the Kitchen Table and then they said ok now or maybe its ridge or maybe its clear which are and maybe its remembered i still ultimately think out of those 4 candidates the one who has the most fire behind them is actually blue to judge when it comes down to the this is right i mean is wrong ok sack but i mean again theres going to be the perception real or imagined among bernie supporters that the d. N. C. Is going to throw all their fire behind this mayor pete and theres going to be again that sense of being cheated ok and like i said real or imagined in this in this in this race ok i think it was obvious in 2016 but the way the d. N. C. You know bloomberg gives them a ton of money that all of sudden change the rules we all know that thats a fact ok now if the d. N. C. Pushes all the way behind me or pete theres going to be a sense of alienation and it will suppress the vote one bit it goes to you go ahead. Thats right and you know you know hes always been smarmy but i thought in this recent debate he was particularly insufferable i dont think that hes going to win a lot of people overall though i do agree that he does kind of have this naive sense of oh someone new someone young but thats really you know the media is certainly making out the whole Democratic Party to be much bigger than it is and much you know the you look at the trump rallies its shocking to see some of these lines outside trump rallies in new jersey blue states you know there is going to be so Many Democrats voting republican this time around you know the democrats arent going to have anyone that really can compete to be honest ill say it now but it could be booted judge it does just seem the to me the most obviously clear thing is that its not going to be bernie theyre not going to let him have it and you know could be booted i think biden has fossilised i dont think hes going anywhere and you know bloomberg he does have the name recognition from his media empire that i do think looks attractive to them in the general life will he make it there will he be able to buy his way there i dont know im going to end on kims observation if the Democratic Party respected voters they might have a chance in november but they havent shown that respect thats all the time we have many thanks to my guests in washington seattle and in los angeles and thanks to our viewers for watching us here at r.
