A long outspoken in demanding that the United States and its support for these forces this is what weve heard from the turkish president. Why you still here why do these weapons still arrive america is in the process of creating a terror army on all good do nothing kreutz on our borders do not provoke us we will run out of patience tillerson has arrived in turkey and hell be going to an embassy a u. S. Embassy in turkey that is on a street thats actually made into for the military operation against those Kurdish Forces armed by the United StatesOperation Olive Branch and its sending a pretty clear message to washington that they do not approve of this policy of arming Kurdish Forces the United States is caught in a strange place between two allies its aligned with the Kurdish Forces and its also aligned with the turkish government a member of nato that considers those Kurdish Forces to be terrorists. And if you go science professor tomas says turkey now wants the u. S. To deliver on his promises. We are fed up with these words thats coming from america by the saying good to be you know understanding security teams of turkey at the big terrorist group there is you know not only diplomatic santas those from United States just want to keep its promises to deliver those promises to turkey related to our freedom especially in member otherwise i think it doesnt work you know this kind of diplomatic meetings for turkey. Government we know that actually ironically they try to insert software into huawei devices to spy on people that way so its a difficult situation maybe they have evidence they dont want to share for security reasons but right now the one party we have evidence is spying on people is the people who are complaining about huawei the uns annual report on civilian casualties in afghanistan reveals a Record Number when you know details after the break. The protocol is hard coded to dismantle the world as we know it and those to try to get their way will be destroyed by it but those who want to come on board like a friendly regulator thats ok. A bit wary though you know its the classic Good Cop Bad Cop scenario you that want to regulate anyone if the government comes with the gift you have to be a little leery. If north korea really believes were about to conduct a preemptive strike its going to be significant and a serious preemptive strike may. They may be motivated to make it to try to be this is the blood of the. Welcome back the u. N. Assistance mission in afghanistan has revealed its annual reports saying the country has seen a year high in civilian casualties although losses are lower than Previous Year twenty seventeen months the fourth year of more than ten thousand civilian deaths and injuries report also says a fifth of these were caused by progovernment forces and international troops. But i must emphasize that two thousand and seventeen was the fourth Consecutive Year where the mission recorded more than ten thousand civilian casualties progovernment forces which include Afghan NationalSecurity ForcesInternational Military forces and progovernment armed groups were responsible for twenty percent of civilian casualties were u. S. Forces have now been in afghanistan for over sixteen years and during that time over two thousand american soldiers have been killed while over two trillion dollars has been spent on operations in the country so far last august president unveiled a new strategy for resolving the conflict calling for a fifty percent increase in u. S. Troop strength also and activists David Swanson says that negotiation rather than force is the way out of the afghan quagmire. These are civilian deaths that are absolutely unnecessary in a war initiated by the United States at a time when the taliban was willing to negotiate just as its now appealing to the us public the taliban for all its hideous flaws and crimes is absolutely right to try to reach the us public the question is whether we can find the Media Outlets including this one that can manage to reach the u. S. Public with that proposal and whether the u. S. Public can have any sway over their socalled representatives here in washington thats the big question you know but the white house has made very clear that it does not want to listen the taliban doesnt represent the people of afghanistan and who need to find a solution to the taliban but they will find that solution more quickly when the u. S. Stops exacerbating the problem. The white house has blamed russia for a large scale Ransomware Attack which targeted a number of countries last june including russia that comes after the Danish Ministry of defense also says russia was responsible for the attack while the British Government has also made the same accusation but Foreign Office minister loued akhmed who made the statement could actually confirm if it was done to moscow the u. K. s National Cybersecurity censor assesses that the Russian Military was almost certainly responsible for the destructive not purchase cyber attack of june twenty seventh. Well the malware behind the attack is called not pecera the first reports of the cyber attack came from ukraine but quickly spread around the world its believed not pacha hacked at least two sounds nor can i as ations including transport systems banks and hospitals russia the u. K. As the us germany and france were all affected the sickle commentator adam gary says making russia the scapegoat is all the rage. Its just a trend its a it was communists were everywhere in the fiftys then it was everyone whos a muslim is somehow a danger now its russians maybe next month it will be the chinese but since russia and china are our allies maybe they can both be the scapegoats of the failures of western governments to actually do their job for their own citizens so yes it absolutely is a trend in the allegations continue to get more and more absurd theres only one thing in fact that is consistent about these allegations and thats that they dont lead to any tangible evidence theres an allegation theres a giant question mark and then theres an empty russian saying sions anti russian statements the persecution of russian individuals but to get from step one to step three that crucial step to evidence is always missing well the Russian Embassy in london has reacted to the accusations saying there is no proof moscow is to blame the statement of Foreign Office minister lord is like many other similar accusations not backed by any evidence it is another example of irresponsible and hostile rhetoric of british officials towards russia. Now there are two unusual teams at this years Winter Olympics one is the united squad from north and south korea competing together for the first time in twelve years and the other is ellenberg athletes from russia known as they are competing under a neutral flag due to the dispute in doping scandal. Are some spectators whether they recognize the russian teams rebranding. It will take a long while for russian athletes journalists like myself that i can tell you first sure to forget the acronym o. Its a limb take it half really pleased to get paid for the russian North Koreans are doing north korea russia the russians the food there will be here because they do that if you lose a limb and then something with a limp think athletes of russia why would you chant if you wore an oil our team supporter. Would come from really full on. Bush. Legacy that some people say a russian animal can make it sound like that to me a bear the russians bear Siberian Tiger i fear i was. Merely making it sound like its hungry. For gold medals well judging by the first few days of the Winter Olympics the russian fans have chosen to stick to the more traditional chants and symbols. Whats going on with oil and gasoline prices since last june when oil was trading at the New York Mercantile Exchange nine x. At forty three dollars per barrel it has been on a steady rise reaching over sixty six dollars at the end of last month then prices took a terrible turn back down for those in the Energy Industry that is and some of what is going on is terribly tough to figure out so in an effort to figure out some of that were joined now by sean hyman he is the editor of the logical investor newsletter sean thank you so much for joining us can you shed any light on what you think is going on with oil prices these days. Yeah absolutely its good to be here with you you know basically oil has hit two extremes they hit one fifty and it hit the twentys and neither one of those are reality for long term sustainability and oil really producers need somewhere between sixty and one hundred dollars a barrel whether youre talking about u. S. Or mideast producers and so you know were seeing that you know trickle up into that region now and i believe well see that go from sixtys to seventys or so over this next year after all the fed is telling us that inflation is is in the mix and theyre having to raise Interest Rates and one of those big components of inflation of course is in fact oil. Let me ask you this real briefly ive got to get to get to but youre a doubter so you could help me when you talk about sixty to one hundred dollars a barrel sean on how much producers need to make it is it is it is it more for the shell producers or less for those guys who is the most economically set right now with oil prices who produces at the cheapest price. So eagle ford area is probably the cheapest price but you know its and they can get profitable quicker the deep deep oil drillers of course of the ones that have the higher prices and struggle the most Ticker Symbol reg and some of those like that are the ones that will usually struggle the most one of the ones that i like a lot is a chinese Oil Producers the show is the Ticker Symbol there theyve got double digit profits and do well in even a little bit lower all environments. So that eagle ford for those who dont know what to watch follow well every day thats that area down and in texas near san antonio a little east of our west rather houston so sean the u. S. Is set to produce more oil more energy than ever and that has a some impact of course of reducing prices because theres so much supply out there thats at least a theoretical math but that how does that interact with the opec and russia production cuts that they announced the start and put in place last year so theyve had cuts in that that may continue opec basically saudi arabia and russia are talking about bumping those production levels up just a little bit but keep in mind they need some of the highest rank even points for oil to meet their budgets than just about anybody so you know saudi arabia really needs about a good eighty ninety dollars barrel brant crude and so they need oil to continue to head higher and then also when you think about the saudi aramco i. P. O. Coming up latter part of this year they need a high price of oil there to get squeezed a lemon to get the most out of that i. P. O. Price as well. Right absolutely where do you think thats going to end up that i. P. O. That additional Public Offering is going to going to be in saudi arabia is going to be a new york stock exchange. You know its a good question i mean theres been rumors of london the us saudi i would think it would have to be either a n. Y. S. E. Or or london one of those two i think its great for them to you know to go public they need to diversify away you know completely is at least a segment away from oil but i dont think its all all that great really for u. S. Investors and or foreigners outside of the mideast because really theyre just buying into something thats just a very small percentage of their overall will company so i think its great for them i think its not so great for others yeah you remember the president tweeted i think nothing of amber urging the saudis to put the aramco i. P. O. At n. Y. S. E. See well see if the deal maker in chief can can figure this one one out just last quick word what do you think about the changes and price the variables that are really being impact by other things that you alluded to earlier like the c. P. I. And Interest Rates are those having an impact beyond supply and demand shawn yeah i think you know i mean obviously oil is the biggest component whether the fed wants to mid or not you know they try to bring out you know food and energy but honestly its one of the biggest components that makes everything more expensive in our life and so as oil will continue to go and it will continue to trend higher go make everything that we buy and purchase in life higher if for no other reason shipping costs so inflation will continue to increase c. P. L. Continue to increase and rates will continue to increase absolutely you know should i mean the editor of the logical investor newsletter we thank you so much for coming on and sharing your energy and Oil Expertise thank you preceded it. Sunup our quick break but hang here because when we return back by popular demand we have all go oh my or the big coin queen of switzerland and as we go to break here are those specific numbers of the closing bell. The protocol it is hard coded to dismantle the world as we know it and those who try to get their way will be destroyed by it but those who want to come on board like a friendly regulator thats ok i am a bit wary though you know its the classic Good Cop Bad Cop scenario you know when regulate anyone if the government comes with the gift you have to be a little leery. But if north korea really believes were about to conduct a preemptive strike on its going to be significant in a serious preemptive strike that may.
