RSU Radio receives award, grant

Rogers State University Radio received the Bret Michaels’ Spirit of College Radio Award for outstanding and spirited efforts made by college radio stations as part of the World College Radio Day global initiative, according to a media release.
Approximately 570 stations participated in 43 countries and six continents, and 10 stations were chosen. RSU Radio was one of four stations in the United States to receive the award. Each of the 10 global award winners received $1,000 to help with maintenance and growth of their respective stations.
