RSPB Scotland has announced the launch of the Nature of Scotland Awards 2021.
The award ceremony, now in its tenth year, helps to celebrate individuals and organisations "making a difference in their local communities, businesses, and schools to support Scotland’s wildlife and special places."
Previous winners include Sunnyside Primary School in Craigend, who were awarded in 2020 for their efforts in their “Nae Straw at Aw” campaign.
Lisa Perrie, Principal Teacher at Sunnyside Primary School said: “Having our efforts acknowledged by the RSPB was very exciting for all those involved with the “Nae Straw at Aw” campaign, particularly our hardworking pupils, and it has certainly encouraged us to keep fighting for nature.
