Royal Oak police: Man assaults Taphouse employee over parking; thieves smash vehicle windows in string of thefts

An employee at Royal Oak Taphouse called police after they say he was assaulted by a passenger in a car that illegally parked in the alley behind the business during the Arts, Beats and Eats festival.
