LKCMedicine to introduce more AI, digital health courses Nanyang Technological University Singapore announced that more course content related to AI and digital health will be added to the refreshed curriculum of the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. From next year, digital health will be integrated as vertical courses throughout the five-year Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery programme. These include courses on medical data science, data analytics, and AI. According to a press statement, the updated curriculum will help students develop "a firm foundation in the ethical and legal consequences of AI and healthcare informatics and be aware of both its limits and benefits, as well as hands-on exposure to AI and medical technologies such as telehealth, health apps and wearables, and personalised molecular medicine."
