Roughly 216,000 Children Sexually Abused by French Clergy From 1950s as Catholic Church Turned a Blind Eye, Report Finds

A French report found that roughly 216,000 children were victims of sexual abuse by the Catholic Church who continued to turn a blind eye for 70 years. The number of victims increased to 330,000 when including those who were targeted by non-Church members but affiliated with them.
