Former Foreign Affairs chief Albert Del Rosario on Tuesday said presidential spokesman Harry Roque's debate challenge on West Philippine Sea issues is not the "best way" to spend time, noting that the presidential office is undergoing "credibility challenges."
In a press statement, Del Rosario said he acknowledged Roque's invite but underscored "serious credibility challenges" within the Office of the President.
"The question arises – Is the problem with the marketer, or is it the product, or both?" Del Rosario also said.
Del Rosario also thumbed down the debate on territorial dispute because it would show that "we are not united and we do not know what we are doing."
