'Brooklyn Needs Downstate': Unions Rally for $133M in State Budget for SUNY Downstate Medical Center

Hospital workers, elected officials and faith leaders gathered on Friday to urge lawmakers to include additional funding in this year's state budget for Flatbush’s SUNY Downstate Medical Center, which houses the only medical school in Brooklyn.
