Gov Ron DeSantis says people are flocking to Florida because they're sick of 'draconian lockdowns' -  as he boasts that home sales are up 22%, taxes are low and schools are open (but ignores fact state has fourth worst COVID death toll in America)
DeSantis told Fox News' Tucker Carlson Tonight Tuesday night that Americans are turning to the Sunshine State as a 'landing pad' amid the pandemic 
He said it is because Florida does not have 'draconian lockdowns'
His comments come the same day 15,431 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the state - marking the second highest day on record for new infections
