Former Dallas Cowboys starting quarterback Tony Romo will have to stick with his fall day job of analyzing NFL games for another year.
Per Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk, the CBS on-air personality shot a 3-over 75 in a U.S. Open local qualifier held at The Bridges Golf Club in Gunter, Texas, which put the 41-year-old two strokes shy of qualifying for the playoff for the final spot in sectional qualifying.
Romo advanced to sectional qualifying in 2010, the only time he got past the local qualifier stage.
