A 45-year-old farmer from Dighali Chapori village of Dhemaji district, Bijoy Lakhi Pame, has been preserving two indigenous varieties of ghost chillies, which have unique pests and adverse climatic condition-resistant features. He has been cultivating the two varieties in his field and earning a good yearly amount.
