The Corn Palace Stampede Rodeo held its annual kickoff Tuesday evening with music, beer, food and a celebration of members and contributors of the rodeo’s past and present.
The event, sponsored by KMIT 105.9, began at 5 p.m. at the rodeo grounds north of town with music playing over the speakers and volunteers distributing burgers, brats and beer to attendees.
