A capital project at Calgary’s Rockyview Hospital will create more space for patients needing intensive care while boosting the size of the facility’s gastrointestinal clinic.
The project will receive $59 million over the next three years as part of Alberta’s 2021 budget, released in February. Only $3 million of that will come in 2021–22, with the remainder of the funding expected by 2024. Calgary Health Foundation is also committing $12 million.
