THE team at Museums Worcestershire are delighted to have reopened all three of our museums – and what better object to celebrate with than this glorious jukebox?
Sometimes all it takes is one object to inspire a whole exhibition. This was the case for the new Lavish Living: Worcestershire in the 1950s exhibition at Worcestershire County Museum at Hartlebury Castle.
While the museum has been closed to the public, the team have been working hard installing an exhibition celebrating Worcestershire in the 1950s – full of retro room sets and displays – all inspired by a curator’s desire to show off this wonderful item.
