The Worcester Red Sox slugged their way past the Red Wings, 12-1, Friday night to even the series at two games apiece.
Luis Garcia gave the Wings the early lead hitting the first pitch of the game over the left field fence.
But, it was all Woo Sox from there. Worcester hit homers in the first, second and fifth innings to take a 4-1 lead.
