Rochester man sentenced for killing immigrant in 2018
Judge Kathy Wallace handed down a 15-year prison sentence to Sao Yim Jr., 27, months after he was found guilty of second-degree murder-without intent.

The man who fatally shot a father of two nearly three years ago was sentenced Monday to 15 years in state prison for the murder.
"This was a senseless act of violence," Judge Kathy Wallace said in handing down her sentence. "A wife was stripped of her husband and two children, two very young children, ages 7 and 9, were stripped of having a father for the rest of their lives."
