It’s time for the nation to start paying attention to Amari Robinson. Robinson, a 2022-23 All-ACC selection, is easily putting together the best season of her storied career and one of the most all-around seasons of any player in the ACC. She’s averaging career highs and leading the Tigers in points per game (18.2) and rebounds per game (6.8). That’s not even mentioning the fact that she’s shooting the best slash line of her career (59/41/82). This unbelievable stretch of basketball peaked on Sunday with a historically elite effort. In Clemson’s last game against Syracuse, Robinson’s final line looked like something you’d see in the box score of a video game. A jaw-dropping 37 points, 14/19 from the floor, 1/2 from outside, 8/9 from the free throw line, five rebounds in just 27 minutes. Those other-worldly stats left the crowd of near 3,000 people in awe. A group of Orange fans even stopped and congratulated Robinson on her tremendous performance prior to her leaving the court after the game.
