On January 18, 2021 at approximately 5:45 pm, Manchester Police responded to the New Hampshire State Liquor Store at 68 Elm Street for a robbery.
An employee told police a woman who had previously been trespassed from the store had come in. The woman was identified as 27 y/o Beth Whittaker of Manchester (no set address). When the employee tried to approach Whittaker, she reportedly grabbed about 10 “Nips” alcohol bottles and ran out. The employee followed Whittaker out of the store and told her to return the merchandise. Whittaker then threw some of the bottles on the ground. As the employee started picking them up, Whittaker punched her in the head.
