Sunday's gunfire that left a police officer wounded and a homicide suspect, David Adam McFall, dead happened in the space of 10 seconds, the prosecutor said. "There is also absolutely no question that Mr. McFall posed an immediate threat to others given his unprovoked and irrational behavior," Commonwealth's Attorney Donald Caldwell said. "As bad as the situation was, had Mr. McFall not been stopped, it could have been much worse."
