Road to popular falls in Cape Breton Highlands National Park to become a hiking trail

A severe rainstorm in 2021 caused massive washouts on the road leading up to Mary Ann Falls in northern Cape Breton. Parks Canada announced the road is now permanently closed to traffic and will be rebuilt for hikers and mountain bikers.
