RNC Calls Jan. 6 Riot 'Legitimate Political Discourse,' Censures Cheney, Kinzinger For Involvement in Select Committee

The Republican National Committee has voted to censure Reps. Liz Cheney of Wyoming and Adam Kinzinger of Illinois for being part of the House Select Committee. They argued that the panel, which was responsible for investigating the Capitol Hill riot, was persecuting ordinary citizens.
