DRIVING A WHITE 2012 CHEVY CRUZE... WITH THE LICENSE PLATE -- K-A-U-0-3-6. THE RIVER VALLEY YOUNG MARINES ARE LOOKING TO RECRUIT MEMBERS BEFORE TRAINING KICKS OFF. THE YOUNG MARINES PROGRAM IS A NATIONWIDE NON- PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT STARTED A CHAPTER IN BARLING IN OCTOBER. IT'S FOCUSED ON LEADERSHIP, CITIZENSHIP AND SELF- DISCIPLINE. RECRUIT TRAINING WAS ORIGINALLY SET FOR JANUARY FIRST... BUT KEEPS GETTING POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19. ORGANIZERS TELL US THEY'RE NOW LOOKING AT THE FIRST WEEK OF FEBRUARY.
