Rittman: Man takes his own life in front of police

RITTMAN  A man who police say had been involved in a domestic incident before driving away later killed himself as investigators were trying to convince him to give up his gun.
According to a news release from Rittman police, Matthew I. Morgan, 34, died in the parking lot of an apartment complex off East Sunset Drive around 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Rittman police said they had spotted Morgan as he drove into the lot in a silver Jeep.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Department had put out an alert to locate the driver and vehicle following a domestic incident outside of the city in Wayne County.
